Kawana Flooring is the Sunshine Coasts’ flooring and interiors expert, with two locations in Warana and almost 30 years of experience, Kawana Flooring is here to help you transform your space, whether that be your home or business.

Why They Came to Us

Garry (Owner) and Ryan (Managing Director) approached us in early 2018, looking to shake up their marketing efforts. They had an outdated website that wasn’t working for them, and weren’t getting much traction with their offline activities. They knew they wanted to try digital marketing channels, but they weren’t sure what or how.

After a full review of their marketing activities and spend, we got to work. First up, a new Squarespace website. Then a new direction. We cancelled underperforming channels and spend, and re-allocated it to the online space, where they would get more bang for their buck. Kawana Flooring came on as a retainer client in May 2018, outsourcing their social media, SEO, and Google Ads to us.

We quickly began to see things grow. They started to establish a solid online reputation within the Sunshine Coast community, with sales growing month on month. They then purchased a second flooring business - previously Supa Floors & Interiors - and we took on managing the marketing for that brand too.

In 2020, the Supa Floors brand was brought in under the Kawana Flooring umbrella, and we worked closely with Garry and Ryan and the re-brand. We now manage social media, SEO (including local SEO), website maintenance, Google Ads and retail campaigns for both locations.

The Results are In

Since establishing a consistent online presence, Kawana Flooring has seen a steady growth in its business, in terms of sales, foot traffic, and leads. Their solid reputation, their fantastic customer service, and a mixed channel marketing strategy helped them weather the turmoil of Covid-19, and even launch a second location in late 2020.

WEBSITE TRAFFIC

Traffic to the Kawana Flooring website is up 36% on the prior financial year. This steady growth was largely driven by increases in direct and referral traffic, thanks to the great reputation they have established on the Sunshine Coast.

What’s even better is that the increase in enquiry through the website is up even more. We’re getting more enquiry from all channels, but especially paid ads and direct traffic. Plus the introduction of email as a channel has helped drive that even more!

PAID ADS ENQUIRY

Despite a 50% budget increase in media spend when the second location opened, paid ads enquiry has increased 76% on the prior financial year. So the brand is definitely getting more bang for their Google Ads buck! Just what we like to see!
